Zodion app (In progress)
✖ CHARACTER:
Name: Yuui Fluorite
Canon: Shiritsu Horitsuba Gakuen
PB/Image: Here
Info links: Here
Canon Point: The latest chapter, after the new student has arrived at the school.
Gender & Sex: M/M
Age: 23 (this is an approximation and not a given age from his canon)
Birthdate/Sign: March 20 / Pisces.
This birthdate is not canon but is picked to a couple of reasons. The attributes and strengths fit his personality rather well. He's a bit shy, asking his brother to perform for him on the school radio because he's not comfortable with it. The creativity as well as the attributes art and music can very easily be connected to his cooking, which involves decorations, and his music. The words gentle, caring, loving, helpful and compassionate are also all adjectives that fit his personality.
Moreover, while the date is not canon having the same birthday as the Fai already in game is canon. Clamp characters are shown to have the same birthday no matter which canon they're in. For example Sakura and Syaoran share the birthday, April 1st when they first appear in Card Captor Sakura and keep this birthday when they appear in Tsubasa and Horitsuba. This birthday is also shared by Syaoran's clone (in Tsubasa) and twin (in Horitsuba) and by Watanuki who in Tsubasa is created to replace Syaoran in our world. And since the Fai in game is the alternate version of Yuui's twin in Horitsuba, them not sharing a birthday would be breaking canon.
Tattoo: Rather small, located on his left palm
Suitability: N/A
Power: Healing
Personality:
Yuui’s demeanour is usually rather calm and soft and he is often seen with a small smile on his lips. He is very easy going and generally prefers to bend to other people’s will rather than trying to go against them. He doesn’t like to stand out much, preferring to take the side seat or work behind the scenes instead. Of course this doesn’t mean that he’s a pushover. If something really matters to him he tries to make sure he gets his way, but he will still do his best to not make too much of a fuss about it. There is one possible exception to this rule and that’s if it’s something that concerns his twin brother. But even then his experience tells him that making a big fuss usually only makes things worse for the person he’s trying to protect.
He makes for a very steady and loyal friend, sort of the calm rock that takes everything in stride. But if you’re going to be his friend there is one thing you must learn to live with for things to work out smoothly. No matter how close you are you will never be what matters most to him and if push comes to shove he will always put his brother before you, or anything else really. Including himself. For example he’s happily left his job and home in Italy in order to be with his brother in Japan.
He is very good at cooking and takes a great interest in it. At the moment he's a home economics teacher and before that he managed a restaurant in Italy. He's played the piano since he was a child and has also been doing archery but stopped when he got serious about cooking. Even so it's a skill he would like to take up again.
While he is the calmer of the twins that does not in any way mean that he is not up for a good prank, or several. The first thing he does when coming to Japan is not telling his brother but instead helping the chairwoman of the school, Yuuko to play a prank on Fai and Kurogane. The twins also talk about how they would play pranks on the people around them when they were children by pretending to be the other one. And while Yuui claims that he no longer can imitate his brother the way he once could it's very probably that he still can, he just don't want people to know about it. He’s a bit shy and not very comfortable with performing too much in public, leaving that to his more flamboyant brother.
It's rather difficult to rattle him and almost no matter what you throw at him he's probably just going to smile and roll with it. For example he doesn't seem to even raise an eyebrow at seeing his brother being chased by an angry, gigantic man. He has a very open mind and as long as something doesn't hurt people he's probably cool with it, and once again if it's his brother he will be fine with it no matter if it hurts others or not even though he disapproves of it.
Of course this acceptance has its limits. His world is a relatively ordinary one, very much like our own, where magic is nothing more than smoke and mirrors. Being transported to another world where things that he knows as only tricks or myths can be real is not something that he will be able to shrug off as easily as he does his brother’s pranks and antics. He will however learn to accept his new surroundings relatively quickly and once he has properly settled in he will be able to deal with the changes and people of Zodion with his usual calm demeanour.

"Zodion" First-Person Network Entry:
[ Good day, Zodion. Say hello to a somewhat familiar face, though if you look closely you may be able to find that there is something a bit different about this one. He’s sitting on a kitchen counter, you can see the cupboards behind him, and he’s wearing a dark blue apron that has been lightly smudged with flour in a few places along with a small, but rather contented, smile on his lips. ]
Hello everyone! Ah, first things first I suppose. My name is Yuui, Yuui Fluorite and I’ve only very recently arrived at this- here. Now some of you might find me a bit… familiar, that would be because I, ah, kind of have a twin by the name of Fai who’s been here a lot longer and, knowing him, he’s probably made himself pretty well known around here. Hopefully this won’t be too confusing for those who already know him or for anyone who will come to know either of us in the future.
[ It’s not the whole truth but it’s correct enough and he doesn’t really feel that this is the time or place to start talking about alternate universes, especially since he’s still not quite sure if he gets all of it himself. ]
Now, onto the main part of my message, I happen to be in some need of employment. Back home I work as a home economics teacher, which basically means that I teach cooking, and before that I had a restaurant in Italy, focusing on Italian cuisine. So if there is anyone here who would be interested in cooking lessons, I would be more than happy to help. I can also offer up my services if there’s anyone who wants to have a party, or an event or even simply a special dinner for your closest friend and want someone to fix the food for you.
[ There’s a slight pause. ]
Ah, I think that was all for now. Thank you very much for your time and I hope you have a pleasant day!
"Zodionlogs" Third-Person Prose Entry: (200 word min)
Yuui blinks, and everything shifts. A moment ago he had been standing in his classroom, working on the finer details of his lesson plan all while keeping a watchful eye on the window in case his brother decided to drop by. And now he's somewhere else, lying on a stone bed as if he's waking up from some kind of very realistic dream. But surely this must be the dream, even if it happens to be the most real dream he has ever had. He lies still for a moment, trying to calm down the wild thoughts racing through his mind. His eyes find the lines of the drawings on the ceiling. He knows these images, although he's pretty sure he's never seen any quite like this before. Surely he must have, at some point, if he's dreaming about them? He closes his eyes and focuses on the memory of his classroom but when he opens them again nothing has changed.
A sharp pain in his left hand breaks through his thoughts and he looks down, worried he might have hurt himself somehow. The sight of the tattoo does nothing to calm him, nor does the fact that it's glowing, but at least he's not bleeding. The sign on his hand matches one of the signs on the ceiling and it's one of the few ones he knows the meaning to. Pisces, his own sign. When they were kids he and Fai had joked that they had been born on the wrong day, because surely they should have been born under the Gemini, the twins who had been allowed to be together forever in the stars. Just like the two of them would always be together. Of course that was long before Yuui's decision to go to culinary school half a world away, before he'd decided to let his hair grow longer while Fai decided to keep his short, and they were no longer impossible to tell apart. Before nature had run it's course and they had begun to grow apart, even if it was only by a little. He didn't know when it had begun but he knew him going to Italy, alone, had been the final proof. Objectively it had probably been good for them, they had been able to form fully as individuals, but at the same time it had been lonely. There was a place in his heart that no one else could ever fill, and when the opportunity return home came he hadn't even hesitated. He still got to do what he loved, cook, but he and his brother were together again, just like they were supposed to be. Until now.
The thoughts of his brother causes the panic begins to rise again and he has to fight to keep calm. He sits up, focusing on keeping his breaths deep and calm, the pain in his hand already faded into nothing as has the glow. Once he feels calm enough he gets up off the bed and wanders around the room. The first stop if the stone podium. He reads the letter twice, not quite sure what to think. This is the strangest dream he's ever had and the only one where he's been aware of that he was dreaming and still unable to change anything within the dream. But if this isn't a dream – but that couldn’t be. It was senseless, unthinkable. An idea he just can't grasp. – then what? Why is he here? How is he here? Is he the only one, or is there anyone else? What about Fai? He grabs the phone and no matter how irrational it is he dials his brother's number. There's nothing. There is no one at that number, no one at all. And this, more than anything, is what finally makes the situation feel real to him. If this had been a dream Fai would have been there; no matter how illogical it is he knows that if he called his brother would have been on the other end of that line. Because even in the mids of his darkest nightmares there was one thing that never had been taken away from him, and that was his brother. It was as if even the deepest parts of his subconscious rejected the idea of them being torn apart. Of him being so completely and utterly alone as only losing his twin could make him. But Fai isn't on the other side of the line. He isn’t and so, no matter how unfathomable it might seem, this might not be a dream after all.
